Description
I live in Michigan, the state of bloody intolerable, completely illogical weather. It was over 60 F this weekend, sunny and balmy like a nice spring day. Today it's hailing, snowing and just simply being miserable (we're supposedly going to get 11 inches of snow by tomorrow morning. Yay.) The warm temperatures inspired this, and I'll be damned if I'm going to let the weather dampen my spring mood ΒBlack india ink, white gel pen, gold leaf and graphite on toned paper, digital finishing.

Well, hopefully it won't be *that* hot in four weeks. I do have to admit that I could live without the near 100 degree weather in July and August (and I actually like snow... when it stays on the ground and doesn't come in erratic clumps of a foot or more at a time only to melt two days later).
