oh pish-tush; don't worry your sweet little head about mistakes you've heard the lectures before: mistakes are just part of the creation and practice processes. in my opinion, proportion-, accuracy-, placement-, value-, whatever-mistakes mean nothing if the work of art is pleasing to the eyes, heart and soul. we must never forget why we draw: to express ourselves freely and passionately, not to try and fit into strict "guidelines."

last comment march 3 2005?! damn i'm late... but i must ask:

is it just a girl thing that girls tend to draw catboys with not-as-cute-as-girls eyes (meaning shorter in height; more narrow and realistic to real human eyes), and rarely in cute gestures, such as flirty, silly, or lovey-dovey? because that's honestly what dissappoints me about most catboy art. the uninviting expressions on catboys like this draws me away; i want to snuggle and smooch and love-on catboys, not see them frown at me and turn away. catboys with big adorable anime eyes (but not bug-like, of course) being as cute and cuddly as they can look and be are more appealing, in my opinion. that's probably just the babyish nature inside me, though. i'm sorry if i sound selfish, i know i do... but, of course, i'm not telling you what to draw. you draw what you want, how you want =^_^= *huggipoo* don't let all this junk about me liking friendly, cutie catboys alter your answer to my original question, should you choose to answer it.
