I mean, seriously. I can take Hahn, Zhao, Ponytail!Zuko, Azula, and even Ozai himself... but that guy from The Avatar Day episode should DIE!! Slowly and painfully!!Seriously, I hate him!

The least cruel Thing, that Team Avatar could have done to him, would be, sending a Complaint to King Kuei in Ba Sing Se, let his Limbs being crushed by earthbended Rocks and lock him in PrisonΒ for "Treachery against the Earth Kingdom and the Balance of the World" for the Rest of his Life.

Yep, the other antagonists in the show you usually can either find some way to grudgingly respect while also disliking them, or just plain dislike them, or even just admire them a bit for their insane drive, motivation, strength, and intelligence even though they're on opposing sides to to our protagonists, Β but THIS guy...... Β
I really, really wanted something awful to happen to him. He was TERRIBLE. An obnoxious, rude, ignorant, purposely facts-fudging jerk with the listening skills of Cornelius Fudge! I know that hurting people isn't the answer here, but I can't help but wish they could've thrown the un-fried dough at his stupid face....

Β In the episode he was featured in, this idiot got Aang arrested, claiming he needed to "stand trial" for the past actions of Kiyoshi. The whole thing was a farce, because even after Aang told his side, the jerk stated he was guilty and used "the wheel of punishment", which landed on the "boiled or fried alive in oil" choice and ONLY changed (despite Sokka and Katara's valid protests against their friend getting killed) because the Fire Nation showed up to attack the village and Aang was called upon to defeat them and save the village from being looted and burned to the ground. In return, "Avatar Day" was remade as a day of celebrating Aang's heroism, and instead of being boiled or fried in oil, he and Sokka and Katara got bowls of celebratory un-fried dough cut into shapes vaguely resembling Aang to eat.Β
To explain WHY he got arrested in the first place for Kiyoshi's actions:
Kiyoshi, one of his Avatar predecessors, supposedly killed a warlord named Chin, who tried to conquer the Earth Kingdom continent but was beaten by Kiyoshi when she entered the Avatar state and split her homeland peninsula (later known as Kiyoshi island) from the mainland to protect it. Because of this, the people of Chin village, who live on the mainland, created "Avatar Day" to vilify Kyoshi, and all succeeding Avatars, for the death of their leader. The people of Kyoshi Island, meanwhile, founded "Kiyoshi Day" on the same day as Avatar Day, to honor her creation of the island and the restoration of peace to their village.
Here's a Wikipedia rundown of why: "During Kyoshi's life, theΒ 46th Earth King 's rule was unpopular among the populace of the Earth Kingdom. Using this to his advantage, the warlord Chin launchedΒ a war Β to conquer the continent. He was successful until he reached the peninsula where Kyoshi lived. When he refused to listen to Kyoshi, she confronted him and separated the peninsula from the mainland by entering the Avatar State and using a combination of earthbending and airbending, forming Kyoshi Island and thereby protecting her homeland from subsequent threats. An indignant Chin was left standing on the edge of a cliff, which began to crumble beneath his feet, causing him to fallΒ into the sea, where he subsequently drowned. His death ushered the world into a great era of peace."

And then at the very end, after he saved his people, he makes them eat un-fried dough.
I mean seriously? I know he wasn't boiled, but you couldn't have at least BAKED the dough first?

Plus, this show is to get out the message that hurting people is never the only option, there is always a way around it that is what Aang was thought by the air-nomad's, that's one of the things I for one really admire about the show.
