Here is my contest entry for 's coloring contest.

Was interesting getting to work on another artist's lines while attempting to mimic their style. I might have to try it again sometime soon.

I think his line work for this piece might have been simplified to accommodate for a wider range of artistic skill levels. It's that or Slugbox has the same problem I do in that none of my characters ever seem to look exactly the same way twice. XD

Rather than just plainly coloring the piece I also went in and touched up some of the lines adjusting them so they might more closely resemble previous versions of the same characters that he's drawn. I'm guessing that this will be considered a taboo by many and that the bulk of the participants won't have thought to go that far with their entry. I even went so far as to change up the joke text. XD

Since this images doesn't bear any of my own characters and I don't suspect I'll be making any money off of it any time soon I'll go ahead and make the .PSD file available after the contest has ended to for learning purposes.
