Description
Count and Countess Sordheim, original charactersCommission work for Tumblr user hrasa'iresh'vlittu ( )
'Evirea Velacel and Count Sordheim forged first an unlikely bond of understanding, then of trust, and then of love. The two hold to very different walks of life, and yet somehow they manage to come together to forge something greater than what they had before they met. It is through this unique bond that they run the County of Blightwatch: one out of a love for her people, and the other out of his duty to them by birthright'

The characters look great, and the background is to die for - very well done!
When I first read the title, I thought this would be an artwork of Verandis Ravenwatch, a prominent count of that region (and one of my personal favourites). But this count is very handsome, too!

Thank you so much. Yeah, the background task description was all wow -- so glad you think I succeeded.
Unfortunately, I know nothing -- like, 100% nothing -- about The Elder Scrolls: Online lore & characters. Should be smth really spectacular!

I had a hefty request with this commission and you pulled it off so amazingly!Β The organ in the background is incredibly done, and I love that you managed to get all of those details that I wanted worked through the art - Malark's skin getting warmer at Evirea's touch, one hand still in a vampiric form. I'm always delighted with the commissions I get from you, but I think this one has catapulted you to my favorite artist. You even managed to nail Evirea's facial features so perfectly from the reference I provided.Β
Always a pleasure working with you RisingMonster. You're a true delight.

Thousands and thousands of thanks here, my lady.
Tried my best to make the artpiece the one deserving that whole relationship concept you've described; what a love story, what a couple.
Had friend of mine watching through the progress stages: they got all into it from the very beginning. We had really, really great time discussing count and countess, and the scene, and, like, everything. Β
Thank you once again. Sincerely yours.Β

So cold, but kind of gentle. Interesting work.

Oh, yes; just what I tried to perform according to the task description that anannymoose5 provided: things intimate and tender, and pure -- between ones who know how to take care and how to heal as well as they know how to harm, how to provide damage. Responsibility, taken full and fair; trust; some kind of a justice.
My gratitude.

Beautiful work! They remind me so much of my husband's and my characters. He's Altmer and she's Breton, count and countess, both vampires, and crazy in love. I'm definitely going to commission you to depict them at some point in the near future.

Thank you very much. The 'crazy in love' thing sounds so interesting! What a great artistic experience could that be.Β
