Aw now that's just sad. I know that Samara had to kill her daughter for revenge, but that doesn't mean that she's greatfull about her death. She's still a heartbroken mother to Morinth.

Their's was always one of the most tragic relationships in the game, imo, and you've captured it so well. T_T

The emotion on Samara's face speaks VOLUMES. Very nice detail on everything!

In a tearjerking way, liara, who is also born by 2 asari mothers, could see samara's situation a what if if she went nut with power and how it could effect her mothers as well

Samara: "I'm ready to leave this place and get on with my life."
Shepard (kinda herp derp clueless): "Do you want to talk about what happened?"
Samara: "Shepard, what do you think I will say? What can I say? I have just killed the bravest and smartest of my daughters. There are no words. I will try another time. For now, show mercy on a broken old warrior, and let us leave."
The image captures it extraordinarily well.

A very emotional piece! I think you captured the moment really well, with Samara being heartbroken by the necessity of killing Morinth. Judging by the way Samara spoke of her daughter, it's clear she was fond of her and also admired her to a certain extent, so it's very fitting she is grieving as shown in this work.

I like how old samara looks in this. it's like the weight of her hunt and its consequences have finally come down on her shoulders in full force

Beautiful. I love the hopeless look on Samara's face. Really reflects the emotion in this moment.
