Description
Photoshop colored version of my Joker character study. I'm a bit noobish when it comes to digital coloring, so I decided to try and mimic my friend Gabe's method of coloring (he's the one who colored the cover to Faceless Soldiers #1.) Basically a flat, animated look that I think came out pretty good... all things considered. I'd like to experiment more, to try and get a darker look and feel to the whole thing, but for now I think this works.Related content

The middle one is my favorite angle...
He doesn't seem too upset about Joker 1 stepping on his foot. xD

Yea, Joker be cool like that.
Haha, my teacher for the course, Phil Jiminez, pointed out a ton of things wrong with this character study. For the sake of my own ego, I won't point them out myself haha. At the very least, he liked the "character" I gave this piece.

Haha. Well, it is better than i can do. I have much difficulty doing dynamic poses that look at all like what nature allows. xD
I have heard this phrase once;
Those who can, DO.
Those who can't, teach.
Does your teacher have mondo skills, or is a critic to say the least? xD

You can wikipedia his name, Phil Jiminez. The guy is a well renowned comic book artist who consistently draws for DC and Marvel, and whom last I spoke to was working on some Spider-Man stuff. So to answer your queston... yes, he's the real deal hahaha!
