Description
Ah, the first sauropod I've modeled from scratch since Alamosaurus,I've been looking forward to making you.(Human height is 1. 7 meters/ 5' 7")
Still one of the most iconic sauropods, and one of the most interesting in my opinion.
If you are wondering what I am going to change about the model, I'm mainly going to add a little more bulk to specific areas like the top of the head.

Model is based off of Mike Taylor's brachiosaur skeletal.Β

Nice to see a 3D model based on that skeletal. It doesn't seem different from Paleo-King's Brachiosaurus altithorax when it comes to proportions. I only suspect Taylor's model is more slender.

Taylor's is basically a kitbash of GSP's "Giraffatitan" (which is largely HMN SI for the neck, not a true Giraffatitan, hence the shorter neck) with a longer tail and torso to fit with the B. altithorax material. Hartman closely follows Taylor. Mine is scratch-built from the ground up.
Though I do admit, when I first saw this, I thought Paleop did base it on my skeletal. Taylors (as I recall) had a shorter neck.

I also thought he had used your skeletal when I first saw it. One good thing about Taylor's skeletal is that it shows a neck curvature, which appears to makes sense, in my opinion. At least when it comes to brachiosaurids. I'm okay with Hartman's view on necks but... I don't know, it just seems like this posture fits them better.
Also, Taylor's skeletal doesn't give the impression of size as well as in your skeletal, I guess it's not as tall at the shoulder or something. I also suspect it looks slimmer than yours, correct me if I'm wrong.Β

Taylor's version uses a GSP Giraffatitan neck and tilts it down a bit.Β Due to a few scaling discrepancies in the neck and forelimbs it looks lower to the ground than mine. The humerus is eroded at the bottom end so it needs a bit more length, and the lower arm too seems to be underscaled (again, from a GSP Giraffatitan clone). I don't blame Dr. Taylor, because he is very busy and probably didn't have as much time to build his skeletal as I did for mine. Also I edited mine a few times after finding more data and specimens to fill in some gaps.

can you give your model here the color of the DK brachiosaurus?
