Species: D. altus.

Time: Late Jurassic.

Lifestyle: Herbivore.

I have reworked this closer to Gregory S. Paul’s skeletal. Sorry about the drab colours but unlike birds most dinosaurs couldn’t escape to the trees & had to forgo the luxury of bright colours; more armoured fighting vehicles than peacocks. Also, animals are usually camouflaged top to bottom but large Theropods would also have to be camouflaged front to back because that’s the prey’s eye view. I only mention that to show I do think about colouration. Thanks Paul for the New Zealand photos, this one depicts a Dryosaurus looking around nervously as this is a perfect environment for an ambush predator.

Very good! The dappled sunlight on the Dryosaurus's back is a nice touch.
