Description
Here is the image I used as a reference for my "SAPPHIRRO" drawing...I botched his nose and bridge up by over doing the detail, but I still like how the Drawing looks...but CAN'T beat the REAL thing, he is just SO magnificent!PS If you didn't notice I removed the halter in my drawing--horses SHOULD look as wild and free spirited as they are in life...without man-made devices on them all the time. So usually I will try to draw horses minus tack and rider, unless THAT is the subject of the art...without tack of course we would be steering blind! LOL! I hope to be able to ride him bareback with minimal bridle, maybe even teach him to be ridden Native American style with a simple thong bridle and bareback most of the time....I also plan to get an Aussie endurance saddle for when we eventually start trail riding places, a couple years from now.
