Description
During my visit to Taiwan, I, predictably, went up to Taipei 101. It was quite a disappointment that they close down most sections of the open-air observatory deck. I spotted a part of Taipei that was covered in a thick fog. I thought that it would make a great photo subject, even though the final picture would give a mysterious sense, which contrasts sharply to the liveliness of the city.In summary, I think Taipei 101 is well worth a visit. Taipei itself is also one of the most attractive cities I have ever been. It features a good blend of Chinese and Japanese cultures. Everything is pretty modern too.

Very plausible photograph. I don't know if it is fog or pollution in the city, but it sets a gloomy and post apocalyptic mood to it. The fog also adds depth and dimension which is a plus. Lighting is great. I can tell that you wanted to show outlines rather than details in the buildings rather. This causes the viewer to want to know what lies beyond the fog, beyond the city, and ultimately evokes the question: what happened to this city? I would have maybe liked to see the version of this photo with color but other than that I rate this photograph highly.

Thank you very much I am inclined to say that it is a fog, because many pictures of Taipei show it covered in a very thick natural fog.

Thank you so much I was lucky that the fog was just thick enough to create such layers
