There's a story, more of an urban legend than anything else, that Hex Maniacs used to be regular women, before they were possessed by an evil spirit that transformed them into the horny goths they are today.

Nico didn't believe the story until she bought a beautiful choker at an antique shop that her Sableye seemed particularly fascinated by. After a few days of wearing it, she found herself starting to undergo changes. her hair started to lighten, becoming more lavender, and her breasts were even growing larger. She attempted to remove the choker but found her hands simply phased through it.

After another week of wearing it, she had completely forgotten about her old self, eyes swirling with her ghostly possession, now dressing in gothic fashions, except her coat, which she kept, and mooning creepily over strong trainers who came to her gym, which she had petitioned to convert to a ghost type gym. This change has been strongly opposed by most of the trainers in her region, who are proud to have the only known dark type gym.

Her new team is composed of Sableye, Banette, Spiritomb, Gengar, Drifblim and Mismagius.
