Description
I used my rabbit base for this. Should you guys wish it, I will upload it for you guys to use.I'm working on two characters that I'll be roleplaying shortly. Her brother is underdeveloped and their history is a bit sketchy, sorry about that...
Name: Naruthyl (nickname is 'Naru')
Species: Oryctolagus cuniculus (European Rabbit)
Gender: Doe
Age: 2 Years, born in late winter, shortly before spring
Description
Very dark brown, almost black in color. The base of her ears, spine, tail tip, muzzle and paws are all darker in color. She has two darker spots on the back of her neck as well. Parts of her face and cheeks are lighter in color, with an even lighter shade of pale brown near the edge of her lower head and connected to a patch on her chest. She has the usual lighter tail-tip and lighter eye patches. Her eyes are a dark teal blue. In addition, she has two different scars, obtained through traveling as a hlessi. One rip in her right ear, and a scratch on her muzzle. Other than that she is a beautiful doe. Her fur is fine and soft. She is a bit stockier than a normal doe, if only just slightly stronger than normal. She has a rounded and compact look to her, rather simple looking but what a human might call 'cute' in that sense. She is a bit larger than normal but not too much so.
History
She never knew all that much about her Warren. She knew her brother, her sister, her mother, and of the war. An ongoing battle between two Warrens. And the blood. So much blood. She never completely understood why the Warrens hated eachother, it was too much for such a young kitten to understand. But she did know that they hated eachother dearly, and she understood the sense of hopelessness her mother felt at least a little. This is how the little was named. She was named in a way that made very little sense when repeated, perhaps their Marli was near tharn, no one really knows. Naru, as in "to dislike" and Thyl, as in "to start". In naming her Naruthyl, it was linked to that, in Naru's beginning, there was much hate around her. Her sister was named Inle-roo, a reference to the Black Rabbit and implying her small size. Her brother's name, Bralvaonahl, literally means "Hope no", but could be translated to 'No hope" or "Hopeless".
Indeed, although one might consider giving rooli this name foolish, it proved correct. The war was at its peak. It ended in disaster after all. It was no happy ending for any of them, filled with death and horror. As they were 10 weeks old, one rainy day, the massacre happened. The other Warren attacked, without mercy. Naru's Warren stubbornly defended themselves, refusing to retreat. Weakened and desperate after a rather harsh year, the majority of the rabbits were killed. Then, the burrow was infiltrated. Her mother cried 'Zorn!', and, heartbroken, attempted to defend her kittens. She was killed quickly. Inle-roo was the next the next rabbit to die. Bralvaonahl suffered bad injuries, and Naru was attacked, but wasn't injured too badly, due to another survivor coming in and stopping them. They were all gathering outside. There were 7 survivors, not including the two kittens. In the end, they decided it would be best to band together for survival, despite their differences. This is all Naru can remember of her early past. (if needed, I can state what was really going on in her Warren that she is unaware of)
She and her brother were taken in by the group of rabbits. She resented them, seeing them as negative figures in her mind, but cooperated and cared for her brother in order to keep them both alive. To ensure survival, as they got older, the two were trained. Naruthyl listened carefully to the legends abd lessons she was taught. Life was difficult enough, to difficult to do the usual practices of a proper Warren. The group was too small and not growing fast enough. Any kittens born into the group were killed off too quickly due to the lack of adults, and no social order was developed. They eventually were picked off one by one. Four were killed by Elil. Two died of hunger. One simply left to seek a better life elsewhere. At 9 months old, this left the two young rabbits alone to fend for themselves. From that moment until currently, sticking together, the two rabbits have wandered alone. It's been a tough experience for both of them, taking turns at silflaying and keeping watch. Endless travel seems to be their current fate, in many ways they're barely aware that warrens even exist.
History Notes
The death of her home Warren did not impact her nearly as much as it did her brother, but it did teach her how harsh life can be, and in the long run helped her step up to care for her living relative. The training she recieved growing up was harsh and helped shape her character, as well as the countless near-death experiences she had growning up. Although her small group of survivors was killed off by Elil by the time she was 9 months old, Naruthyl learned alot from them, including how she could learn from the tales of El-ahrairah to help her succeed as well as the various fighting lessons she was taught. Most of her most character-building experiences, however, came from the dangerous encounters with Elil and such while traveling alone with her brother.
Personality
Having been raised without any type of organized rabbit society for the majority of her life, Naruthyl knows very little of Chief Rabbits, Owlsa, or any matter of a Warren life. She is used to living almost entirely above ground, running and fighting her way through life. She does know much of rabbit lore, including the story of Watership Down, and has taken it to heart, using the usual cunning and trickery to get out of some tricky scrapes, though strives for simplicity in most situations. She does speak Lapine, but it isn't as fluent as most rabbits.
In habit, she is always looking for danger, silflays nervously, and may seem strange, jumpy, and even paranoid to the average rabbit. Likewise, she is very wary and even hateful towards other rabbits. Naru is very alert, cautious, and doesn't trust anything that seems slightly unfamiliar, and doesn't like to do anything out of the ordinary for her. Life in a Warren may be hard for her. She is a bit snappy and quick to attack someone unfamiliar. She will easily jump to conclusions and resort to aggression should the situation be in her favor at the moment. It takes a lot to earn her trust, and she will be hostile or even rude at first. This doe can also be quite a bit irritable, may complain frequently, and has a foul mouth at times. Although she will should the situation call for it, she hates to run and loves to fight.
However, beneath this strangely tough, aggressive doe is a reserved, hidden sweet nature that she rarely reveals. More often seen is her sturdy courage, undivided loyalty, and absolute perseverance in the hardest of times. She has a very strong devotion to those she trusts, and although she tries to hide it at times, she does care for such rabbits, and will give her life to ensure their happiness and safety. This can be seen towards her brother, who irritates her and she may even be harsh to, but in the end will tend to his every need, from keeping him safe to comforting him occasionally. Despite this, however, any buck who simply treats her like a doe, she will not hesitate to bite their ears off just to prove she's not your average defenseless doe. She can have a rash temper in such situations, and may need to be persuaded to keep her cool should her temper get her and others in trouble.
Abilities
Her only strength is that she is a good fighter. Part of this is from physical ability, part of it is from her mindset, and part of it is from training, so it might not entirely be considered a special ability. Although she is stronger than the average doe, it really only is enough on its own to face up to the strength of the average buck. Her fierce determination and her personality, as well as the tough training both recieved from life experiences and from older rabbits teaching her how to fight aids it, but it doesn't lead up to making her a super-rabbit. She is of normal size and there are certainly many rabbits stronger than she is.

A good way to get names is to look at British plant names, or there's an extensive list of Lapine words, that's how I got my names. owo
