A fun shot from a photo shoot with a local photographer.While I'm not a fan of the character "Lady Deadpool," Wade Wilson's Deadpool is by far one of my favorite characters of all time. Since I'm unfortunately not a guy, I can't 100% portray my favorite character to the T, but I can damn well try!
Costume made by yours truly.

Thank you kindly! I've almost given up on the term "female" Deadpool, since most people just roll their eyes and say "you mean LADY Deadpool?". No pony tail or horrible character for me, no spank you. So...it's "rule 63 Deadpool" or just good ol' "Deadpool" these days.

Please tell me, did you buy a red zentai morphsuit and then sewed the black deadpool pattern on it?? I'm debating from buying the pre-made deadpool zentai suit from ebay or make my own (which i know would look much better because i want to make it perfect, adding details like the drip on the mask.)

I made everything from scratch, you really can't buy a "perfect" fit zentai suit, but there are some places that can at least take your measurements.
If you have the time and experience to make your own, I'll always recommend making your suit from scratch to insure a proper fit. If you are uncomfortable working with stretchy materials, get yourself a base suit, carefully map out your "patches" and zig-zag or stretch stitch them on. (my patches have serged edges, and are stitched on).

interesting! okay, what about the eyes? did you use white spandex? how did you see through? i tried looking through and couldn't see a lot. sorta like a blur.

Eyes are the trickiest! I was damn near half blind in sunny San Diego when I debuted this one. The original eyes I made with buckram, a stiff fabric that worked at the time, but man oh man...horrible in direct light. SO! With that said, I'm testing a new method with lenses and some athletic mesh. I don't know if I'll recommend this method until I try it out. (I'll keep you posted!)
The best thing to do, if you've got a bit of time on your hands is to head over to www.therpf.com and look up "Spider Man Lenses" - there's a lot of great techniques and pictures posted by the people that make them.

It was okay, but in the sun (or bright light) I was half blind. I'd suggest using a stretched out white lycra fabric or paint copper mesh.

im cosplaying x force deadpool but the mask i got is kinda tight around the eye area making it hard to blink. any tips? like maybe wear small goggles underneath?

Being a guy, face shells are usually a must. They look kind of like hockey masks, but more fitted with proper eyes holes. I don't need one, but my friend who did Spiderman Noir got his from a guy on [link]
If you want to go another route, you can add gussets in the back to make your mask more "roomy". Goggles tend to fog up really bad, so definitely a last resort. Hope that helps and happy 'Poolin!
