A fun shot from a photo shoot with a local photographer.While I'm not a fan of the character "Lady Deadpool," Wade Wilson's Deadpool is by far one of my favorite characters of all time. Since I'm unfortunately not a guy, I can't 100% portray my favorite character to the T, but I can damn well try!
Costume made by yours truly.

The most awesome Justin Chung made a sketch card of this photo for Marvel Universe 2011. Someone found it and now I'm up on eBay (haha!). Not too cheap either, check it out - [link]

Thank you for the kind words! By unfortunately, I just mean that I could never be a completely accurate Deadpool since he's a guy. (and I would never dress up as "Lady Deadpool" because she takes everything that I love away from the original)

Custom DP shoes are the best! Get yourself some faux/real leather shoes and make your own "dude" DP shoes.

I discovered Deadpool recently, and practically fell in love with the character. You did a great job portraying him here, so two thumbs up for you.

awesome cosplay ^^ im gonna be cosplaying Deadpool too,and while i love the guy Deadpool...i am too a girl so im just gonna have to live with it xD I'm going to use a morphsuit for mine,and i was just wondering how you got the black areas to look so perfect? random question,but it looks so neat!

The more the merrier, I say. The black areas I made with the same 4-way stretch lycra, I serged the edges and stitched them on the the red suit. It really helps if you have a friend pin these pieces on top while your wearing the base suit, if not you may get weird puckers or an improper stretch over your body.

how'd you make it?!
i want to cosplay deadpool but all the costumes i find online are so icky and have terrible masks.

Thank you! I made the pattern from scratch and hand stitched most of my mask. I used 4-way stretch lycra for the suit, it has only 7 seams including the zippers. The deadpool logo on the gloves is an iron on appliquΓ©. For the boots I cleaned, sanded, primed, and painted to get the appropriate colors. The belt buckle is also ironed onto cloth then glued to a mirror base.
There was a LOT to do with the whole costume, but if you have any questions feel free to send a message.
