Cool idea, looks great. I love it!
Quick tip: If you wanna remove the bubbles from the resin, try flame treatment with small propane-butane torch. Does wonders.

Actually, there were no bubbles until I stuck it in the oven hoping my chemistry knowledge would help me cure the resin faster OTL

(it ended up boiling a bit)....but oh, well...I was rushing to get back to school after break and would rather have little bubbles than fingerprints and dust in the resin

That's right, heat speeds up curing of resin but also makes water residue to evaporate and can cause bubbles
Resins are tricky
