yeah, I can understand shipping being a big downside, especially sending to other countries. the E-book should do well I think unless you wanted to raise the pricing on the hard copies to make up for shipping cost
although i love hard copies for the sake of having something to hold and as a collector item x3

I still sell hard copies but I guess I can't sell cheapper than old price[10 USD] because I print not much in English version ;w;" just 30-50 copies per book then printing price very high. I can sell thai version cheapper because I can print at 300 copies then printing price cheaper a lot..... My friend said I should do kickerstarter to get more order abd can make price cheapper... but I don't sure it can help or not Orz

oh Kickstarter is a good idea! and I bet you would definitely get some help *nods* the hard part is deciding on a cap, a price goal you are wanting to reach, and then tier goals, certain amounts that people can pay in order to get something special. like say if they donate 5USD they might get an index card size print of a character signed. 10USD would be a signed manga, etc.
a friend of mine is actually doing that for his and one of his higher rewards is getting that donater's oc as a cameo in the manga. of course I think that is limited to just a few
but if your friend is willing to help, I say go for it ^^
