Seen this contest and I had to do it! Now, my art compared to the others participating in this is trash, but, I came up with a pretty interesting story, so hopefully that counts for something

Winning this would probably be my biggest accomplishment since graduating XD

That isn't going to happen though because everyone else's oc are freaking gorgeous XD

About the oc:

Name: Olivia Hope

Race: Human

Gender: Female(Obviously)

Age: 23

Magic: Glass-Make

Personality: Hope has a calm and somewhat peaceful personality. She's easy to get along with and easy to make smile. At time she can be like a child; curious and naive. This is caused form her lack of knowledge of the outside world. For the most part Hope is someone you could sit with in silence for hours and be perfectly fine with it. She also like the little things in life, find joy in things most people would find odd, such as flowers or insects.

I'm still working on her back story but here's the jist of it

So the oc featured above is one of my newest oc's Olivia Hope. You're probably looking at her and thinking she's pretty bland, right? Well there's good reason for that.

Back story: From the moment she was born Hope was a sickly child, no matter what medical wizards tried to do Olivia never got better, so she was moved to a facility where she could be looked at 24/7. Even with her sickness Hope was never a

sad child, but not a happy one either, she was somewhere in between. One of Hope's favorite things to do when she had free time was read; learning about magic and the world outside of the facility. Hope learned to use her Glass-Make magic

from an old book that had been collecting dust for years. In a way the magic was perfect for her.

Why? Easy.

Glass is fragile, and if not handled properly will shatter into pieces, however when handle with care it can become something beautiful. With time and patience Hope was able to master the magic, giving her a spark of hope for the future to come.

Hope had always dreamed of being a wizard ad joining a guild but her sickness prevented. With a goal in mind Hope started to train with her magic, becoming a little stronger and stronger everyday, and ultimately becoming one step closer to her
dream.

So those clothes in the picture are her hospital garb. I'm still working on her actual outfit.

The medical facility that Hope stays at isn't too far away from the forest, so she sometimes like to sneak away from the overbearing nurses and go work on her magic or explore the forest. She's never really traveled too far into the forest so she doesn't know what secrets it hides. Even so, she's not afraid, more curious than anything. All she's every know is white walls so the beautiful colors of the forest tend to entrance her, making her become lost in her own little world.

Now I picture Hope's curiosity getting the better of her and she ends of traveling further into the forest, further than she's ever come before, discovering a whole new world of sorts. As she exploring she catches sight of a mysterious man, and immediately becomes drawn to him, prompting her to follow him and of course, get caught in the process. Of course she would have questions, but the language barrier between the two makes conversation difficult. With it getting late Hope heads back to the hospital and travels into the library, grabbing a book on foreign languages, hoping to learn the mysterious man's language. It would take time, but that's all Hope has these days. Once she was thought she knew enough to at least make small talk she would head back to the forest, praying the man would come around. With luck, Hope would trying communicating with him with the newly learned language, amusing him or confusing him. If that didn't work Hope would do her best to find something worked. Even if she can't properly communicate with him she would take comfort in his presence, find the mindless jabber between the two, or the silence, oddly soothing.

Bonus: Hope would always get stronger as the days go by, finally being able to leave the facility.

Role-Play Example:

Hope and Hunter sit beneath the shade of a tree, Hope has a large worn and battered book in her lap, her brows knit together and her mouth is in a tight line, "The pages are old and some of the words are smudged, but I think I can understand them, somewhat," Hope narrows her eyes and struggles to read one of the written words, "Did I say that right?" She asked with hopeful eyes.

Hunter chuckles and nods. Truthfully, it was nowhere near right, but she was trying, and that was all that mattered.

I think Hope and Hunter would bereally cute together, they both don't know much about the outside world and they've both lived somewhat sheltered lives. I dont know, just a thought lol.

Because Kendypun has a natural talent when it comes to making attractive characters and I couldn't resist...
