I draw werewolves a lot and I usually have them very cartoon-ish and simplified, but my plan was to make them visually and culturally distinctive from real wolves. So I had to try my hand at drawing regular wolves again.It never made sense to me for werewolves to follow wolf traditions, since their connection is more metaphorical than literal. Also wild animals in general are less accepting and more discriminating than humans. Being approached by a human that turns into a wolf would probably be the wolf equivalent of meeting John Carpenter's the Thing.
I don't know why the derp wolves talk like stoners.

I was wondering, do you think you could do a tutorial on how to draw werewolves your way? I already think that the comparison between regular wolf and werewolf in this (with helpful labels) was awesome, but could you extend it more? That's something I'd really like to see!

Sure, I was thinking about doing something like that. I do have my own interpretation, and I would like to elaborate on it, but I don't know what I should explain. I'm planning on posting a comic up here eventually and I'm trying to be mindful about the presentation. Physical differences are free game though, so I'll probably do something like that, yeah.
