A prequel (sort of) for the doodle comic I uploaded last time.

Some body-stealing monster is hanging out around in this village out in the boonies. He's farming villagers for chunks of human flesh (arms/legs/etc) so that he can take human form. This is him being nice. A meaner monster would've just killed everyone they assimilated flesh from.
You're missing a hand now, but you still have the rest of your arm, see? What a nice guy.

Things would go way easier if not for this freakin' kid who keeps chucking rocks at him, screaming at him, and just being a nuisance in general. What's her deal?

If this was a thing I'd ever want to visit in story form, I'd probably try pairing the story of "Grandma Is Pissed" with "The Reason Why Grandma Is Pissed". 'Cause stories look a little different depending on how you tell them. M_ gets to laugh because, in the present, its a fun old story she can use to embarrass her terrible friend.

Things look significantly more dire from the Kid's end, though.

Life seems to always catch Kid/Grandma at a bad time. She only encounters her monsters when she's too young or too old to do any traditional monster-slaying. Maybe that'd make an interesting conceit, who knows?

I ended up drawing Monster Face's dumb, overly-complicated face a lot because I couldn't get it to look right. I kinda got distracted figuring out how someone's face would operate if they didn't have cheeks. Here's a fun feature: if you cover the sides of his mouth he looks way less cheerful.
