Description So Barnes and Noble has these brown paper notebooks. I've been looking for one of these things for such a long time that when I saw it I had to buy it!!

I got it right before Thanksgiving and I started drawing in it at the airport.

The first entry... ROBUTT!!! He prefers SCIENCE!!!

Heh. The name makes me laugh! No matter how old I get, the word butt is still funny.

HAHA!
I know what you mean. I'm partial to people who pronounce "robot" with a "butt" at the end as I'm sure you noticed.

I think it's science propaganda as perpetrated by robots.

Would that happen to be a Prismacolor French gray marker you're using there for the shading? I only ask because I'm fond of that sort of marker myself.

Nice work! I like that brown paper. The ink, gray marker, and white pencil highlights are quite spiffy. SCIENCE, indeed, Mister Robutt!

It would indeed.
Now... can you tell me the percentage?

Thanks a bunch! I've been wanting to do some of these for a while.

Hmmm... I'd say 60-80%, but hard to say since I'm not used to the brightness of my new laptop screen. How close am I?

They look great! I'll be keeping an eye out for more!

Your eyeballs are pretty good, it's 50%. So I'm guessing the additional 10-30% is from the brown paper.

Woo hoo! I was sort of close! Yeah, the brown paper could be a factor in how dark the gray looks. It's an excellent combo!

Cool, the brown paper adds a cool antiqued look to it! =^^=

Did you use whiteout for the highlighting?

Thanks!!
That's actually a white colored pencil. I've got whiteout prepared for other purposes. I've had trouble creating gradients with whiteout in the past.
