Well...it’s about time I finally uploaded the ref. XD I'll be uploading a mini character interaction thing later this week if I can~
Apologies if his design looks similar to another next gen's, I took inspiration from his parents and his parents alone.

Name: Sauvignon Blanc
Parents: Fancy Pants and Fleur de Lis
Species: Unicorn
Body Type: Slightly taller than fancy pants, but thinner due to his mother's genes
Occupation (Optional): Wine connoisseur, often spends time with his parents at fancy social events
Talent: Being able to see and appreciate the finer things in life
Bio
Fancy Pants and Fleur had a simple relationship; at first it was strictly professional but then blossomed into a romance. Fancy Pants one of the most important, sophisticated ponies in Canterlot; Fleur being not only a world famous model, but also a cultural ambassador from Prance (France.)
As a colt he was very mild mannered and a bit of a mama's boy, but both of his parents spoiled him. For the longest time he had no cutie mark, which frustrated him. His parents allowed him to drink (being French/Prench) and all, but as a colt he had a major sweet tooth and hated the taste of alcohol. As a child he wanted to be a superhero, but he saw a court case and then wanted to be a judge. He wanted to study law, hiding his blank flank with fancy tailored suits. During this time in his life, he changed from an innocent crybaby to a cynical, irritable stallion that did nothing but study all day. He even began drifting away from his parents, shutting them out whenever they would try to get him to go to events with them.

However, one fateful night would come when he was at a party. A group of snooty teenaged upperclass ponies started making fun of him for being not only a blank flank, but for being a bit of a social recluse, at least, with ponies his age. At first he ignored them, but eventually their taunts got to him. To prove he wasn't a tightwad as they said he was, he joined them in secretly sneaking off to another room to get drunk and have their own little party...

He woke up the next morning hungover, however, he had woken up to find that a cutie mark had appeared on his flank. At first he was confused at why he had his cutiemark...then later that day he had realized that the night before, he had actually had...fun. The ponies he thought he would never associate with normally, he realized that even they had a good sense of humor and fun to them. He slowly but surely repaired the strained relationship with his parents, and started to try to be a bit more social. It was tough at first, being so socially awkward, but he's found a good balance between extroverted and respectful.
Personality
Usually his personality is rather mild. He doesn't get angry easily, but when he sees something in need of justice he can be extremely Intimidating. He Likes kids and mares, yet he acts rather rude (although not consciously) towards stallions. Secretly he has a terrible guilty conscience, but after gifting something extravagant he usually feels immediately better. After all, money is no object.
A very deep thinker, sometimes he'll spend his nights with a glass of wine, contemplating life's mysteries. Even though he has a high tolerance, a single glass too many completely erases his somber, gentle mood and he turns into a silly and rambunctious stallion.
Extras
o Speaks fluent French/Prench and has a slight accent. Imagine Varrick from Legend of Korra...but more French
o Self conscious about his looks, messes with his shiny hair when nervous
o Secretly attends rodeo shows in disguise
o Hates socks
o Favorite food is red velvet cake
o Blind as a bat without his glasses
o Had an embarrassing phase where he would pervert everything everyone said
Relations with other members of next gen
He sees Riddle as his best friend. Every year at the grand galloping gala they pull some crazy stunt. They never get in any trouble since it amuses Auntie Celestia. By extension, he enjoys the company of Princess Jade. However, he’s one of the few ponies who truly know about her weeaboo side. She enjoys showing him her doujin and fanfiction.
Floret is his greatest rival; he goes out of his way to piss him off. Perhaps it’s the fact they’re so close in social status that destined them to be so, but no matter what the reason, they’re always trying to one-up each other. He simply adores Bloody Rose; he thinks she's the cutest thing ever. He flirts with her a lot, both because he finds her attractive, and to mess with Floret.
At first Marshall didn’t like him, but since Sauvignon puts up a sensible front he tolerates him. They complain about things together. He doesn't really know the Ponyville folk very well, only briefly conversing with them during his or their visits. Syd thinks he's weird, (similar to how Applejack felt around Trenderhoof), but Sunny loves him because he always brings expensive gourmet candies with him whenever he comes to Ponyville. Sound Wave’s always asking for tickets to exclusive events.

As you may know I've made kids of all mane six to my next generation not so long ago, however I feel like there is still space for new characters. The bad news is: I don't have that many favorite ships in MLP and I don't want to force it. And that's why I'm making this contest:
Your quest is to make a character wich will become a part of my next gen. Every assignment should contain:
