I don't have access to a scanner so..yeah, I just took a photo of it.
I intentionally made her sweater a darker colour..if that's what you meant.

Yep you should search for a place where you can take good photographs.
Make light (the best ist the sun, a lamp can be manipulate the colours).
And the best would be a stativ. Then you can montage the camera exactly over the picture.
Try out. I'm sure, you will handle it! ;D
