I'm liking the fun colors in his hair. Very nice.
Streaking/strips are pretty common. It could mean you're low on ink sometimes. Color in quick sweeping strokes or maybe try circular strokes for large areas.

It's a bit difficult to get a an evenly area with dark colours, isn't it? I also have the problem that this tends to look kind of stripey

Honestly rubbing copic blender over top ink thats down separates or picks up the color rather than truly blending. Colorless blender should be put down first THEN color over top. Thats how I get it to do what I want
To fix my streaking I went overtop the black with a C10 color and just layered it, it fixed it up pretty decently. I'll post the re-touch soon in hopes it looks better

I did it wrong forever till I looked at copic tutorials in books and they put down the blender first... then I tried it and was enlightened by it @A@
