When I come up with that design, I was like "wow! This really looks cool! Why didn't I come up with that earlier!? " and now that I see that this design is already used from other artist, I am like "oh... So... It's nothing new ..." But we'll, at least I can tell that my head was coming up with that idea from its own without an inspiration and so I am still proud of that design, although other fantastic artists already got it before me xD

i've had a similar thing happen many times
i drew a vampire once with a design straight from my head and then later i find that the design is nearly identical to not 1 but 2 vampires in different medias
it was a bit unfortunate but my view on it is that there are 8 Billion people on earth, some ideas are BOUND to be similar

Ich muss ehrlich sagen, dass ich, als dieses Muster beim Sketchen entstand, ich mir so dachte "WiE COOL DAS AUSSiEHT!? wieso ist mir sowas nicht schon früher eingefallen!?" und weil ich es nirgends gesehen hatte, dachte ich mir echt so "BOAH! DA hast du dir ja endlich mal was cooles und simples einfallen lassen!" und dann die Ernüchterung nach 2 Tagen, als ich gesehen hatte, dass es einige Drachen mit so einer Designausführung bereits gab und ich mir nur dachte "war ja klar, dass ich nicht die erste bin ... aber ... mhmmpf ... ist halt so." Trotzdem ist es für mich was besonderes, weil mein dämlicher Kopf erstmal selber drauf gekommen ist, bevor ich nach Recherchen eben doch auf ziemlich viele Flügeldeisgns gestoßen bin, die so ein Muster implementiert haben

Aber ja - klingt sehr vorwurfsvoll - nehme ich aber recht locker hin
