That is sad. That's how Penelope never met her father and is "trapped" in the allegiance. The development of the story so far is tragic. And it will get worse?... Poor Penelope... I hope she'll find her way and get through it.
Nevertheless, I loved to draw her. She is beautiful and your idea about the males antlers and hers are amazing. It was such a pleasure for me to paint these characters.

Ooh ooh OOH it's so PRETTY! What automatically stands out to me right away are the different colors of horns on the deer, and I was probably about to be really confused if I kept typing before I read the words around them(that's a good idea. I should do that more often lol). The vines on the adult male deer antlers are so pretty and I love them!Ā
Woah the hooves look kinda like they're just in a constant sandstorm :0 but they also look super magical and beautiful and like they belong in a enchanted forest. aND WOOAAAAH THE LIGHTNING HORNS ARE SO COOL LOOKING HOW DID YOU DRAW LIGHTNING LIKE HOW IT LOOKS SO GOOD 0W0W0W0W0W0W0W0W0W0W0W0W0W0

The deer look so amazing though, and I'm like actually really impressed by them as I absolutely suck at drawing the equine animals(hooves are hard ;u; ). I love all the fur and the shading it just makes it look so realistic and aaaa
Not to mention the EYES. hOW DO YOU DO THEM SO GOOD? i MUST KNOW XDĀ
ope and now because I started listening to Rapture Rising Reimagined my mind is starting to think exclusively sci-fi lol huh I wonder how different it looks in this mindset...? Huh in this version of my mind it looks kinda like Penelope is like a savior of the other deer to break them out of like a testing facility which was taking their magic, but due to the amount of them and the strong defensive measures of the facility she ultimately fails? Huh interesting idea my mind just had.
But sci-fi and odd ideas aside, this is a really good image! I love the work overall and all the different aspects of the deer shown in it. Great job Pandii!

haha sometimes I catch myself at writing a cmnt before reading or pay attention to the description too 
yeah the gold dust sandstorm :3 I love creatures which are surrounded by glowing things or got golden elements. It makes them look majestic and often very powerful. The lightning how they are currently were an accident xD I sketched them with white lines and refine them. Afterwards I put on the glow and tadaaaa 
Equine animals are really difficult for me either because they got a completely different anatomy than dragons

I agree! Equine is so different from all the other groups! Like canine and feline share some amount of anatomy in my opinion, and if you can draw one you can probably draw the other, and while I can't exactly say dragons are the same as felines and canines, I can say I find myself using very similar anatomy.
Noooo You have a good story for your characters! It's my own characters that can't come up with anything for! You're characters have great stories.

indeed!! felines and canines anatomy are similiar to each other (of course with some differences). And dragons can adapt many kind of anatomy, but equines are just different. Always a new experience to draw them and always fun. I rly love learning and study things.

It truly is fun(but hard) and is worth it once you master it! I sucked at humans last year but I believe I am decent with them now, and it's really satisfying to see the process.
