Here's my entry for 's contest.

The contest was to design our own version of her ShadowWraiths. I went a little more intense with the color than I'd planned, but considering that these creatures a living, breathing representation of rage ( not the most discreet of emotions I might add) it would fit.

And to explain the tail a bit: The tail, when the creature is "relaxed" appears as a normal long, tapered tail with a slight weight at the end for balance. When the creature is disturbed or in attack mode the end of the tail splits, revealing a triple barbed stinger of sorts. The venom in these stingers isn't deadly, but rather causes the victim to go insane, often violently. Those attacked by this creature have even torn themselves to pieces. Heh, I thought it was kind of a cool idea
