Brief biography: Atsuki was born in a temple where his mother worked. The temple was where he lived with his mother and where he helped out. After playing with the fire altar, Atsuki learned of his ability to control fire. However, he is still vulnerable to fire--as his body is human--unless he concentrates the fire away from his body. His mother died when he was 9 and he accused the temple for her death. He ran away and began to live in the forest, surrounded by animals and yokai. He went back to civilization at the age of 14 and he was taken in by an orphanage where he was raised as a proper human being and was taught how to read and write. When he turned 18, he left the orphanage and went back to living in the forest, however he still hangs around in the village with hopes of being hired as a bodyguard.
