Of late I've been no less than captivated by the age old image of the Beatles. Primarily it's the portion of my day spent listening to a rotation of their various compilations at the bakery, but once caught in the head the songs got me day dreaming. I just can't resist their flawless logography, their legacy of style. I know, this behavior, perhaps cliche. And myself, perhaps young and naive in the ways of the 60's scene. I certainly don't know their whole story, but it can't be denied that for the past forty years an image of the Beatles or any member of the Beatles inspires quiet and excited holiness.But you know, whatever, just another oekaki
Inspired by a very interesting story I heard about the boys the other day, 1965, John going up to the roof of abbey road. ....and, uh, yah, John is kinda.....artists liberties.

Utterly beautifull. It says so much... I just can't get over how perfect it is, capturing their relationship so nicely. It makes me feel so serene and fuzzy inside. Great job!

I really love this...both of them look so...amazing! I love the Beatles, and I've always been struck by the relationships between them, and this piece just really says a lot, in a subtle but lovely way, about the one between John and Paul. Very well done!

I definently feel something off this picture. its great how you captured the light from the ciggie, im so easily amaized when people do that. ive never really given it a try before, i think i could maybe.

Go for it! Its not hard! I suggest turning your brush to 'Vivid Light' mode, but use a steady hand, if you aren't careful you'll have a nuclear reactor in three seconds!

Oh my God, this is absolutely gorgeous like you wouldn't believe!!
I can get so much energy from this piece of artwork, it's amazing. It's like a freeze- frame of one of the beautiful "connective" moments us fans can only hear about... The dark colour and the scattering of the stars with the faggie's light adds up to the depth of it. And don't even get me started on how brilliant your drawing style is! You're my new aspiration for drawing the Beatles now... to give them that much feeling and personality. I'm sorry if it sounded brown- nosed, but I always gush like this on the art I love!

Umm... I'm sorry, I know this is an old Deviation. I was just flipping through your gallery when I saw this.
I was born and raised surrounded by everything Beatles, and just I know the story of the Beatles and all, and how it affected my mother and father's lives. I just... seeing this almost draws tears to my eyes, because I feel like you really captured both John and Paul, and their relationship. Sorry if this sounds weird, this is just a really powerful piece of artwork to me.

Hearing that fills me up like a balloon. I'm so happy you found so much in this picture. I feel incredible strongly for the Beatles as well, and feel perhaps the intensity and passion I put into this picture was so delicate and subtle it's completely missed! But you got it. Isn't it funny how music our mothers and fathers loved go on to affect us?

I agree. Because the Beatles affected my parents (mainly my mother) so deeply, they were passed onto me. Gosh, I'm listening to them right now. x3
