If you have short brown hair you'd make an awesome Sofia then and be really proud of what you were given, you don't really need make-up, I didn't wear any on my cosplays as no idea how to do it.

the hair looks realistic. ^_^ Some cosplayers I've seen on dA have wigs for her that just... look too cartoony. This one looks like something you'd see on the street and not do a double-take of.
Hmm... when I was younger, someone in my grade had super curly hair like that. I think her name was Mary and she had brown hair (which may or may not have had a hint of orange). ...either that, or Elizabeth with black hair. But I'm pretty sure Mary had rings like that dropping down her back, and Elizabeth may've also had. (makes me think it needs brushing. Lots of brushing while wet. But, some people actually just let their hair dry that way, probably including Merida.)

That looks pretty great! I would love to see the finished product with the final make-up. What fabric did you use for the overdress? It looks like a faux suede from the picture, but I can't quite tell...

I think this wig looks perfect. It's got the right amount of volume.
Cause I've seen some godawful wigs on other Merida cosplayers.
