Carla's stomach was in knots. Her skin was beading up in an icey sweat and her knees were jelly. Somehow she summoned the power to pull herself behind the corner of a building and out of sight. She was terrified. Until moments ago she had been revelling in her power over the tiny people in the city. She was the top dog, the one playing games. Then the ground had started shaking and a shadow had fallen over her and the city. A young blonde woman's face filled the sky, her eyes intently scanning the ground. She looked familiar but Carla couldn't place her. A face in the street, from a bar or in a mall. Carla peeked around the building she had hidden behind. She couldn't calculate how big this girl was... too vast to comprehend... a super giantess... an almighty goddess. Carla could feel the air move as she breathed. Then as if from nowhere a finger descended from the sky. A digit moving like a hillside a manacured fingernail slowly and gently made contact with a skyscraper, which started to crumble at the touch.Related content
