(FULL VIEW PLEASEl, THERE ARE LOTS OF DETAILS)

A man sitting on the edge of the world sees a swallow flying in the sky. The whole scene is a metaphore of the will to cross a border to reach other places, communicate with other people and live other experiences.

Enjoy and give me feedback please, it was a one week work.

thanks, I had to compete in a digital competition, the theme was "borders" so I did this surrealistic work. I'm glad you liked it, thanks for the comment!

don't watch the photos, I put those just to have the feeling of the horyzon and the river. I completely changed and went on with my mind. I usually don't copy or use reference.

O__O It's amazing! I love all the textures in this pic, and how it is so detailed at the front but then becomes less distinct as it fades into the background, and the softness of the mountains and the waterfall... and the clouds, and the swallow that looks so real! I find it to be very inspiring... a definite +fav! n____n

I like this alot, the detail on the grass, trees, and the rocks. I never get it to look that good, and most people cheat on that stuff and use pre-done brushes

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

pandracchio In reply to KaoruGirl [2006-11-23 04:13:32 +0000 UTC]

My motto is "DON'T USE REFERENCES, DON'T USE PREBRUSHING, USE YOUR BRAIN!" hehehehe
well sometimes I watch pictures, but never to copy them, just to get the feeling of the light or the textures. But I repeat I never copy any of that.
Thanks for the comment and for the fave!

This seriously deserves more views.
