Description
"Getting in Touch with The Goddess"this is the Arc Angel Michael(right) merged with the Hindu goddess Kali(left)
Kali holds a bowl of fire and a scimitar (fire and a sword are also attributes of Michael) and she dances on Shiva who is one half of an infinity symbol made by him and Lucifer, who Michael defeats with his spear and chains.
i've also made their halo into an ourobouros . .a snake/dragon devouring itself
i consider this my universal dark vs. light vs. dark vs. light work, a ying yang of figures cycling eternally in their functions
i'm not gonna tone it down. . i love this piece, and i hope everyone else at least likes it

Okay now, that's amazing. The symbolism is very highly developed and also depicted with great technical knowledge. There is also very great energy and inner wisdom in this picture that I truly envy. Interesting, but are you symbolizing Shiva as being destroyed by Kali? Which, Kali does not destroy Shiva; Shiva threw himself under Kali so that she would stop dancing (so as not to destroy all existance). Michael and Lucifer, however, is a different connection, of course. A form of "expulsion" so to speak, where as Shiva and Kali are a connection.

that's actually what i was trying to describe with Kali and Shiva. . Shiva is sacrificing himself to Kali . . which i tried to bring across with the peaceful look on his face
it's part of the ourobouros idea of the four figures: that light is sacrificing itself to darkness (K&S) and light is conquering the darkness (M&L)
