Description
I LOVE THIS GUYWhat a cool little amphibian, poisoning everybody and such! It also has what appears to be a fiery sticky hand running along it's tail so that's cool too
This was originally just going to be a doodle, as you can see by the messy linework. Then I decided to color and shade it for some reason
The pose was inspired by a shirt of mine, which has Toothless the dragon clinging to the front of the shirt. I thought it would be cute for Salandit to be clinging to something because why not?
Done in Krita using Wacom Intuos Art tablet, approx. 2 hours because I kept trying different ways of coloring but ended up just doing my usual color technique... I wanted to add some flames coming from the tail and toxic flowing out of the mouth but that probably would have taken me another half hour

Thanks! I can't take credit for the colors of the Pokemon, since I use a color identification tool on characters that aren't mine for the most accuracy, but I do take pride in the color I chose for the background! I love working with color and seeing which colors go well together. In fact, I've been thinking of making a palette challenge recently, perhaps as another request batch(but this time without OCs, heh)
