A full shot from Comic Con 2014 of our automaton fanbots; Ceoil (me, on the left) and Cy (my roommate.)We got lots of asks for photos, and compliments on our makeup, as well as a few giggles from those that witnessed our robotic antics through the convention. We also met up with other Steam Powered Giraffe cosplayers; The Spine, The Jon, Rabbit, and Lily Silver (another fanbot!) They were absolutely fantastic and I can't wait to cosplay with them again.
I adored Comic Con and I can't wait to finish my 'bots outfit and present him more often at different conventions. c:

I gather that you are referencing something I never watched (read?), but I still enjoy the effect. Sort of. It's damn eerie, all the way down the facial expressions. Shivers! Well done, both of you!

We're fanbots based off of the musical pantomime band, Steam Powered Giraffe!
I'm glad you like it. c: My 'bot is mute and I'm adding more black and white stripes to him on his final design. I feel like adding a mimeesque look to him is rather fitting.
Comic Con was absolutely amazing as these two and I'm way excited to cosplay them again.
