Thanks for actually telling me where that thing came from! Haha. I'm still confused about why it suddenly became popular, is this an ongoing series or are these characters random and new? The videos not bad overall and the animation is definitely good, but it was just parodying Scooby Doo. The bouncy head thing with the beat is pretty catchy though.

it was a commission frroooom the song writer (Mystery Skulls) for the animator to make a music video for their song. the characters aren't from anywhere like a tv show or anything, they're just oc's made specifically for the video !

No problem! and i'm not sure if this is their first appearance actually... but i've personally never seen them before anywhere else. Then again i'm always the last to know about these sort of things.
That and the fact i'm not interested enough to be researching in depth, but yeah it became really popular really fast, it's crazy how fast can something become viral.

I thought it was popular because it was an animated music video with bright fun visuals and surprisingly in-depth plot and characters with tragic back stories. Those are also pretty popular over the nets.
