This looks really nice. It looks kinda real, but it's still noticable that it is not. I like the shadow and the birds. The people walking in the shadow also look very great and realistic. You could almost see how overwhelmed they are by the amazing discovery they made.
The only thing that bothers me is the difference between the rock in the front and the mountain in the back. Maybe it is an idea to make the rock in the front a little more like the mountain in the back.
Anyway, I really like your work, keep it up!

I really like how the image shows a story behind the scene and I get that the mist effect is to indicate it's afar or mysterious, but I think it could be toned down a little as it kind of ruins the colors and makes the image look a bit weird. It's like, it's extremely bright in the background showing that it's some time around early morning, but then there's the lit part in the foreground that makes it look like it's only noon. Perhaps adding a variety of heaviness to different parts of the mist could make it more clear that it's not just light that's making the background bright.

One of the critiques has said the background looks like morning, and the foreground rock looks like noon. But to me, they both look like morning.
