I love to draw digimon and all the details that they have because they have fabulous details even though they are annoyingly complicated they're still fabulous and i love everything about them uuuuh i just love digimon so much don't mind me ;w;Anyway, a fast morning doodle to warm up for doing PMDE stuff, aw ye P:
Also decided that this type of "style"?? IDK does it even count as a style??? ANYWAY this type of drawings will be reserved for digimon fanart because digimon are awesome and they deserve large canvas and effort and stuff.
Petaldramon is an awesome mon and you can't tell me otherwise, it's a superb cutie.
I mean just look at this cutie. Look at how cute he is.
Oh also a random Agumon because i was lazy to find a ref for Jagamon while sketching this -v-;

I have a question; since you did this in paint, how did you avoid going over the black lines? Is there a super secret method of preserving the linework that I was never informed of, or are you just that incredibly precise? If it's the latter then wooowowowow

The method used was rather simple really :3 It's been in paint since the first version!
You keep the color you want to color over in slot one, and then the color you want in slot two ovo Then take the eraser and right-click, and you will color only on the color you have in slot one uvu

Practice speeds up things so just doing them a lot eventually leads to quick and noticable result. To me honestly around an hour is already SUPER A LOT for art xD Usually i'm done within 30 minutes, ahahaha

Lol! That is true~ Hehe one hour isn't much for me, since some of my works can take up to 3 or 4 hours, depending on the detail haha. And the semi-realism is like simplified, so it's not perfectly like BAM ON SPOT realism, which is why it doesn't take as long xD And typically I'm looking at a reference for those kinda pics as well hehe. It's more complicated than cartoony, yes, but sometimes even cartoony can take a while haha |D

Omfg stop your artwork is adorable and that's all that counts <33 Typically when you make things realistic they tend to look ugly or old, but never really cute haha :'D If I drew many of my reptiles in perfect realism, they'd all look so fat hahaha alligators have some serious turkey necks.

I think I prefer Sai to be honest though considering I was using Photoshop before...I defiantly prefer Sai though I may give Paint a closer look

Yeah, i prefer SAI, too <: Ew photoshop x'D I honestly dislike photoshop a lot, it's so uncomfortable to use ;w;
Paint is fun to use for doodles and stuff <: Has larger drawing space than SAI and is pretty neat. Although takes more time than SAI with cleaning up and stuff xD SAI's binary brush is neater, doesn't need that much cleaning up p:
Yet i still prefer to draw larger doodles in Paint. I don't have to zoom in to get neat lines, whilst in SAI if i don't zoom in the lines are more wobbly and stuff, not sure how to describe them? Guess it's due to the tablet settings clashing with mouse, or something. No idea honestly. But yeah, large things in SAI take way more time than in paint, so. Variety of softwares to use is always nice, anyway :3
