Yes... especially on iPhone games where there is no room to make something useful and discret at the same time . We are working hard to find a good compromise.

What character do you play as? I usually stick with a Battleworn, but they're not all that good to play as in the PvP modes :/

I used to play a distance class, scout or battlemage. I don't know about PvP, I'm a Pve addict! But I stopped playing the game for a while now, not enough free time :/.

I see. I know how that goes though. I have no time to do anything fun anymore myself.

This is so wonderful! Well done! It looks rewarding and these graphics alone would be a reason enough to play this!
Congratulations on your well deserved DD~!

I wish to be practicing in UI designer myself sometime in the near future, but it'll take me quite some time before I'm any good as you!
Just keep going, you're an inspiration!

Good looking assets for sure.
It's a shame the business end of the game is/was so lacking.

Years ago my brother used to have a really cool filter add-on for Photoshop
that would make really nice round buttons like you have on the right from any image
you wanted. I think it let you pick the circle and size and made it look glossy
and like it was a button or glass depending on the options you chose.
I've looked for it for years but can't remember the name and can't find it.
Did you use a filter to do those, or some process, or what?
In Photoshop?
I use Photoshop Elements 10.
I always wished I could make cool-looking stuff like this.
I've seen tutorials that tell you how to do it, but it still takes a certain
amount of artistic knowledge, as well.
A lot of them are also for full-blown Photoshop and don't convert over well
for cheaper PSE.
Although I've heard that you can get the COMPLETE suite of Adobe products
now for about a $30 a month "rental" fee, so I've thought about doing that.

Hello,
I don't use add-on to make buttons, but you can use some scripts to apply some cool layer effects to your shape. You can find some generic button effects scripts on any webdesign siteweb. For my buttons, they are mostly hand painted with some drop shadow.
Thanks
