I honestly cannot describe to you how much of a friggin' crush I have on these guys: Monkey and Trip, from "Enslaved: Odyssey to the West". They're by far the BEST coupling I have ever had the pleasure of perving knowing. It's the sexual tension, man...THE SEXUAL TENSION. It's PERFECT.As you can tell, it has gotten to the point that I have become, as my boyfriend would say, a sad case.
I really won't try to describe you how I feel about these guys, because I have analysed the shit out of their personalities (though I will say that they had SUCH personality really got to me...so much).
I finished the game not too long ago and it was killing me that I can't afford to spend time working on a nicer, more detailed drawing of the two of them. Instead, I had to settle for a doodle. Though I won't lie to you, my reaction at the bottom right of the page is 100% genuine.
Short, simple, but a very good game in general

I think the fact dat kissing didn't happened (on-screen, at least) is the only thing that left me unsatisfied from this game

While I can agree to some extent, I'm glad they left it ambiguous. I think establishing absolutely a romance (in any game, not just Enslaved) can overshadow overarching themes, ruin the current dynamic between characters, and if the romance itself isn't developed well, it can be a total flop. Plus there's something appealing (perhaps more romantic?) about leaving questions unanswered.

Aaaaah, I just finished this game XD
I like that Monkey isn't traditionally handsome. He's kinda scary looking at first. But he really grows on you, and before I knew it I was attached to his character.
It's the voice acting. It's done so very well. The voices make the characters believable.

Haha I feel completely the same way about Monkry and Trip, I just think it's such an original pairing and the game's so well done tooo! (I mean seriously, it kinda gets old seeing the pretty boy meet pretty girl who are about the same age) I dunno there always something so real about those two, apart from the animation.
But yesh yesh I love this little doodles, Trip being all 'weee' as she and Monkey jump is cute, and Trip being all 'ooo shiny' with the power cell cracks me up (I totally gotta make some joke of that in my fic) and your reaction to wishing they'd make out...actually I didn't think of that at that point, but i've seen a lot of comments and pictures on fans that did and its funny. But i do wish they'd kissed, so much T.T even just a hug.
Anyway thank you for drawing such cuteness, I hope you do more someday in the future (THERE'S SO FEW ART PIECES ON THESE TWO! T.T)
