I have, actually. Just recently I made a "Gangster Style" M1921 Thompson with drum mag.

Yeah... I screwed my jigsaw job up on the handgrip and reciever and just went with it. I've since modified this build to be more proportionate. I'm glad you like the woodgraining! It took a while, but the results are quite convinving.

Very cool looking, while the proportions of lower receiver are way off (Grips too small,trigger guard is to large) over all it captures the look.
I really like how you painted the wood, it looks like real wood.
