I'm very happy with this one, especially because I finaly drew Matthew!!

Matthew is Sparrow's husband/mate in Fable 2, and her peer. He's a highwayman and are able to use Will like Time Control and Force Push, but not as Sparrow can do. While Sparrow is more an offensive type Matthew is defensive, therefore better with dodging and blocking. Which make them the perfect pair.

I got the idea for him when fighting highwaymen. After the Spire Lucien sends assassins after you(who you encounter in different places), and each time you kill them you get a spiece of a map. Once you got all four the Quest "The Hit" is available and you get to eliminate them for good.
To the point...I think it was a glitch of some sort, because almost everytime I fought assassins there was this guy who no matter how many times I hit him he wouldn't DIE!(he was dodging all the time...a little too much) After a while bothering me he jumped and then never seen again until next wave of assassins.
I believe I fought at least 10 times before I got all the four pieces. It was kind of annoying, but that was how Matthew was born. After I did the "The hit" quest he doesn't appear any longer, to bad really, I kind of adored him

As you see here Sparrow and Matthew don't get along, in fact they despise each other with great passion and usually end up fighting. It will take some time before they actually start enjoy each others company. Sparrow can be such a major bitch sometimes, and judging by how Matthew grabs for his sword, she must have said something below the belt. Very low. She don't like him because he won't die.
