Sorry I keep making Pokemon comics, I know I'm supposed to be a general games comic artist, but it's just so damn easy to make fun of Pokemon! Well, this time I have a qualm with the TM's and HM's, I JUST recently (yesterday) discovered that they were on CD's. I don't know if this has been done alot yet, so if it has, then sorry haha. Hope you enjoy!Pokemon is property of Nintendo and so forth... better extend this to my other comics haha.

I think what happens is this: The character puts it in his or her pokedex, and beams it at the pokemon.

if the disk is iron tail but its a purple disk should the move be shadow ball or shadow claw not iron tail

My own theory is that they're DVDs, not CDs. They function almost exactly like tutorial videos on Youtube, exept on disks. Makes sense, right?

Coincidentally, in the manga that follows Ash's travels, TM's come in some kind of boxes that you open above the Pokemon's head/brain and they learn it that way.

Oh My GLOB! Pikachu's *munch* face is pricelessss... Then his choke face...and his trainer's expression's the whole time had me giggling. I especially love how Pikachu is all : Derp the whole time. That's hilarious.

Tm's mostly likely work by.... putting it into a cd player.. then giving your pokemon head phones and letting them listen to it? i dunno.

Yeah I've heard several variations to this...God I'm a nerd for this. But back in the day they had a comic set for pokemon. The electric tale of pikachu, and another set. I don't remember it but I think it was pikachu strikes back or shocks back or something. Anyway in the second volume for the set of of comics (2/4) ash (sadly) uses a tm on an evee. This was in the form of a box that he broke open and spread powder on the evee which taught it the move. Then in a fanfiction it was the discs...damn this is long. Her character took the pokemon inside the pokeball and set it on the disc and then it scanned in like that. But it might've been an HM not a TM but I think it would still be the same concept. I honestly need to read the manga to learn even more.

When I found out it was C.Ds another question came to mind; Does the trainer carries around a portable DVD player? I don't remember the Professor giving me that

I always thought that too! I just assumed that the trainers just made them watch a video and they'd be like "Ohhhhhh. Is that how you do that?"

YUS! Another Pokemon R/S/E lover! I do comics like these too, look at mine. Also, Pokemon are so messed up, they cannot bite, swim or fly unless shown a DVD telling them how to. WHAT?

Hmmm, I guess I never saw that haha. Although, I don't think Pokemon have the mental capacity to pay attention to a TV for that long hahah. I'm only basing this on what I've experienced with my dog and nothing else hahaha.

I was rather surprised when the later games came out and the TMs and HMs were....CDs or DVDs. I mean, really, the M stands for MACHINE. Discs are not machines. Pokemon do not have disk drives.
And I'm pretty blooming certain that most pokemon trainers don't carry DVD players and TVs to tutor their pokemon.
But perhaps the Sketch TM is hosted by Bob Ross.
