Description Black Capped Chickadee on a pine bough during our first significant snowfall of the season.
Photographed near our bird feeding station in our backyard at the edge of the woods. The pine bough with cones was attached to the feeder for the birds to use as their landing point... which is also handy for me since I can be quite a distance away and shoot with remote triggers to capture the birds without my presence being a deterrent.
