I don't have patience for that many cranes, but this will come very much in handy when I want to hang all those stars I am folding. Thank you for sharing!
Would I be able to make eyepins out of 22 or 24 gague wire? (I happen to have plenty of that)

I don't see why not, though if it's thinner wire it might not keep its shape as well to work for larger cranes.

I've done something simmilar to that in the past ^_^ I used a needle and thread and I tied a bead under the bottom of each crane so they didn't slip down, then tied the top of the thread to a keyring for it to hang on a wall
