However, I do kind of feel like she seems to be VERY angry, sad, and sympathetic at the same time after this mind-blowing realization about the situation they are suddenly in O_O. This is perhaps throwing her into emotional stupor lol.

I think one way you could describe Elizabeth's story arc that somewhat explains this is that she started the game as a disney princess, and ended it as Doctor Manhattan.
