Description
Chocolate and the beach.Sand between my toes - and a really, really horrid tanline growing on my thighs.
The sun seems to highlight everything, increasing things - The colour, the smell, the heat. oh, that glorious heat.
So colourful things abound, intensified by that beautiful disk in the sky. Including this journal - Especially this journal. I've been reading the works of Ray Bradbury as of late, of his Mars chronicles and imaginings of other worlds - I like to imagine these worlds, under some other radiant sun. I wonder how that star would be different from ours.
Blessings, dear ones!
Marni

Firstly, I am very much in love with this piece, the colors not only excite me but the picture itself is phenomenal, the way you carefully balance the contrast between complimentary colors, cool to warm, is just wonderful. I even like how you made those strokes on the trees, I actually would like to know how you did this, and what medium you used. If anything I'd like to know how you did this image step by step. The only suggestion or critique I would suggest is the following: I'm not sure if it's on purpose, but it seems as if the image is split between a dark side and a lighter side. On the left there's a much darker theme compared to the right. I would suggest a better balance by showing more stronger colors to the rest of the painting. I'm not saying to make the picture even from left to right, but instead either keep a theme of vibrancy from the right or adding a continuity of the dark colors to the whole of the picture. That would be my only suggestion. Over-all, this is a very vibrant, exciting and pleasing piece. Well done!
