Contest Entry for Traumlaterne ( CONTEST INFO )
I needed a break from pixel for a bit, cause the struggle was real //lays. So I took the time to join a wonderful contest.
I had this wonderful concept and composition in mind, but sometimes it just doesn't turn out that great on paper, lol.... AND OF COURSE WHEN YOUR SKILLS ARE NOT ON POINT YET, it can be a bit difficult. There was a lot of stuff I wanted to incorporate in, but man is composition hard. In the end, I did what I could and included what I can, but my initial idea went down the drain...omg. Really wanted to include his sisters if they had references, and if I wasn't blind and noticed the Ringmaster reference earlier, it would have saved me a lot of heartache //weeps. Though, this was another great learning experience under my belt. gonna hit the pixels now and hopefully work out for me, pretty please

Hey I know this was just for a contest but for someone taking a break from pixel art you did a really great job!! The characters are adorable, and I hoped this was a part of a comic. Either way, Beautiful work!! 😘💖💝
