Description Five (identical) modules for the leaves and one for the trunk. The leaves are folded from 80 gsm paper and the trunk from brown parcel paper.

Everyone seems to have palm trees on their mind at the moment.
Just the other week I saw another one, but it was folded from a hexagonal tessellation: [link]
I like your one, but perhaps it would be improved by having larger leaves, or having them curve downwards a bit.

Hmm, yes. Curving the leaves would be better, I think. I'll have to try that. Thanks for the suggestion. I don't think I can make them much bigger, though, if I want to fit them into the trunk.
