Description
Name(s): Two Feathers, Chases Dragonflies (old)Sex: Female
Appearance
- At First Glance: Shaped like your average troodon in her prime, but with strangely androgynous markings (she's lacking the female hip stripes and has dark rims around her facial feather discs that come from the same genetics as the male hood).
- Notable Details: Two scars on left side of her snout. Almost always seen wearing a headdress that's a bundle of hornface cow quills attached to her head feathers with plant fibers and adhesive made out of pine resin.
Note: The headdress is a mark of a leader, and will be made out of the quills of the family's own cows. There's usually one quill for every adult cow, so they're usually different shades of brown, but since one of their cows is piebald, it's completely possible she might wear completely white headdress too for special occasions. If she really wants to impress, she could wear the white quills dyed in bright colors.
Two Feathers is the leader of her little family tribe. She's smart and cunning and used to be a bit of a troublemaker when she was younger, though luckily she's grown out of her dumber ideas. She is a bit of a showoff, but won't let that come before her herd's well being.
The bottom image: How Two Feathers got her name. The feathers she’s known for technically weren’t hers.

Her stealing the feathers totally reminds me of those videos of crows bugging the heck out of large eagles and hawks

You're art's really amazing but looking at it I feel there's more to it. Is there a comic or some other form of story for these characters?

Getting them was a sort of feat of strength, to prove her skills when she tried for the position of a leader. (this may or may not have been going completely overboard with the task...) Also bragging rights.

How do the Singing People get their names? Are they given birth names and then earn their True Name later in life?
